What is a J-Qualified Executive?

A J-Qualified Executive is an individual at a J-Nomad firm that has been approved by TOKYO AIM to act in a lead role in advising and guiding companies at the time of listing on TOKYO AIM and on an ongoing basis.

Criteria for approval as a J-Qualified Executive are stipulated within the Regulations for J-Nomads and Rules for Enforcement. They include that J-Qualified Executives must:

• Be a full time officer / employee of a J-Nomad or a company applying for J-Nomad status
• Demonstrate at least three years’ practical corporate finance experience within the last five years
• Be in a role of supervising relevant business operations of the J-Nomad
• Demonstrate good knowledge and experience in transactions in Japanese capital markets
• Preserve the reputation or integrity of the Market
